Swinging for Cops Charity Golf Tournament and Peace Officer Training Opportunity

Golf is on Wednesday April 3rd , 2024:
- Four-person scramble 10 am T time at Sea Palms Resort and Golf Club on St. Simons Ga.
- Registration $500.00 per team ($125,00 per person) Lunch provided.
The training is on Thursday April 4th and Friday 5th 2024:
- held at the Sea Palms Conference Center at the resort. Registration $150.00 for the class. (continental breakfast and coffee/lunch on first day)
Topic: Managing teams effectively: an evidence-based and practical approach.
This executive level class uses the latest research on developing effective leadership strategies and implementing management practices regarding teams. It will be presented in a 12-hour format. 8 to 5 Thursday and 8 to 12 Friday.
The course will provide important information and thoughtful discourse that focuses on the operational realities of the management and leadership of law enforcement teams. The team perspective will focus on small work units, specialized squads, and multijurisdictional task forces.
