  • Eligibility for active membership in the Peace Officers Association of Georgia is open to any full-time peace officer, sheriff or deputy, correctional officer (state or federal), city or county jailer, staff personnel of the Peace Officers Standards and Training Council and its recognized training academies and full-time instructors, radio operators, drivers license examiners, federal agents and railroad police who are assigned to duty in Georgia, licensed security officers, district attorneys and state court solicitors.

    Eligibility for associate membership in the Peace Officers Association of Georgia is open to all persons of good moral character who embrace the stated mission of the Association and are active supporters of law enforcement.
